Noaz Bar Nir serves as CEO of Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest HMO, since June 2017. Clalit provides medical services to more than 4 million people in community clinics and health centers and is responsible for the operation of 14 public hospitals. Bar Nir also serves as the chairman of the board of Clalit’s subsidiaries: Mor LTD – Advanced Medical Care, focused on early detection and disease diagnosis; Shila – Dental, Complementary and Aesthetic Care; Clalit Biomedical Engineering – Medical Supply and Support Services.
Prior to that, Bar Nir served as the CEO of the Israeli hotel association. Between 2009-2013 he served as CEO of the Israeli ministry of tourism. Between 2002-2008 he served as Clalit Health Services’ CFO, after having been in charge of the health team at the budget branch in the Israeli ministry of finance. Bar Nir holds a B.A degree in Economics and M.B.A from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
